After winning the Pleyade Design Contest, Roos Meerman and KunstLAB Arnhem are now proud to present the first prototype of Kozie; a derivative of the earlier artistic installation Tactile Orchestra. Kozie has been specifically developed for elderly care, since research has shown positive feedback when the installation was used in the care of dementing patients.

At the exhibition called 'Gelders Balkon' we will show the full process from artistic installation to applied solution. The prototype consists of a wall piece and a pillow with the same technique. One can be used for common areas in care facilities, the other for personal use.

Apart from the outcome of the Pleyade Design Contest, we will show the full process of the artistic installation Canorgraphy. The Canorgraphy machine makes sound visible through drawing. A vibrating membrane moves a felt-pen over a paper surface, creating intricate patterns based on the sound waves.
